During this time, we have been so wrapped up in living the Covid-19 Pandemic life that we have been in true survival mode. So, let’s start at the beginning, where does head lice come from? Head lice, a human parasite, has been around for a VERY long time. So long, in fact, that there were nit casings found on preserved Egyptian mummies! So, while head lice hasn’t been on parent’s and caregiver’s minds like it normally is, rest assured that head lice will outlive Covid- and something tells me that after this year we will view head lice more as what it is, a nuisance and not a real health threat.
